Rise and shine

I’m back… You’ll excuse my falling off the face of the Earth again due to a perfectly plausible mixture of exam season, scholarship application season, Eurotrip 2.0, and sheer laziness. The good news is I’m back with goodies. Yes, you read that correctly, Eurotrip 2.0, or more appropriately – Balkantrip. This time around, the route was Bucharest – Belgrade – Budva – Kotor – Dubrovnik – Split – Sarajevo – Ljubljana – Skocjan – Postojna – Bled – Budapest – Bucharest. In case you missed it and woefully regret it, you can take a peek at the original Eurotrip from last year. So without further ado, I’ll go ahead and start the series…

…with a 6 AM photo of Slovenian landscape, after an all night train ride. Talk about walking up at the right time.
