In other (joyous) news, ‘The World According To My Camera’ (not to mention the owner) is positively glowing with delight since Onexposure (which is probably the most awesome multi-artist online photography gallery around) published my first photo. Not only did this make that particular photo doubly significant to me, but I also couldn’t believe the feedback and warm welcome I got from both screeners and commentators alike. I definitely hope this to be only the first of several such events.
Cheers!

Also, that was actually my grandfather’s ball-game-on-Saturday-afternoon radio, but for some reason it still reminds me of that very song (which I happen to really, really like, by the way). Either way, enjoy!

And in other news, my little arts and crafts project is finally complete (boy, it took me a while) and I know it’s not perfect, but I’m actually quite pleased with the way it turned out. I couldn’t find the exact type of site I was looking for, but the one I did go with still made for a couple of decent photos, or so I like to think.

…and then forgetting to pack half the items on it, in all the pre-holiday excitement and bounciness. Or in other words – the day before departure for yours truly. Aren’t holiday preparations lovely?

This is going to be my last post this year and obviously early, since no, I won’t be anywhere near within reach of the blog – which is probably for the best, seeing how my new year’s holiday promises to be a fairly insane one, and I shudder to think what the imminent inebriation and likely ski slope induced contusions would drive me to write. Either way, photo of the week and hopefully an appropriate one for this time of the year…

In other news, my little arts and crafts project is coming along nicely. With any bit of luck I should be able to finish it shortly after getting back in town. Yay!

So anyway, a happy new year to everyone, have the time of your life, and do mind those firecrackers (by which I mean “don’t forget any unlit”)! Cheers!

Time to break out the fancy champagne glasses, boys and girls (not literally, you vandals!)… In celebration of my camera having imparted wisdom pertaining to its view of the world, for a whole year now! That’s right. It was exactly one year ago that this deeply procrastination-inclined student found a new promising way to put off homework, all for a noble, artistic cause. I think I might just print out some more of those infamous W.A.T.M.C stickers…

Anyway, celebrations aside (don’t mind the clinking glasses and drunken slurs in the background), this week’s photo is a pretty sunset over Berlin…

Yes, dear, I know. I promised no more sunsets. The champagne drove me to it, I tells ya… Cheers!
